I will go back to a question that has been asked before but i would like to focus it maybe on a slightly narrower spectrum: Hult EMBA or MBS GMBA?
I have 15+years of experience in the engineering sector and thinking of doing an MBA.
Having researched, spoken to the schools reps , looked at programs, tutors and cohort but also looking at what i can afford i narrowed it down to the two schools mentioned above, Hult EMBA and Manchester GMBA.
Manchester has a bit of a more traditional approach (more theoretical approach- which i don't necessarily see as a positive in world that is changing at the current pace), larger intake (70+), better networking due to the size of the alumni but has also been struggling a little bit over the pandemic with the amount face to face time which is also a crucial factor for me (otherwise i would be comparing it to any full online MBA).
On the other hand Hult gets quite a mix of reviews, good and bad, has not sacrificed F2F time (as most tutors are UAE based) and has actually more of it (4d/month), smaller cohort (30+), is also now triple-accredited, smaller networking and alumni. Hult has also a significantly more practical approach to learning but at the same time i am slightly worried about the depth of the knowledge offered.
An interesting observation is that a number of MBS graduates were approaching the recommendations of MBS for their GMBA program with a slight hesitation (despite the natural human tendency to support our choices) while all Hult graduates i have spoken to are highly supportive of the school and had only good things to say about it.
What would be your recommendations based on the above?
