Canada Student Permit Question ?

Hi All

I wanted to clarify related to changing college/program after Student permit has been granted but have not traveled to Canada.

Scenario: Applied for Student Permit for College A (Course A) and assuming its already approved or still under processing. Now, I get offer from College B (Course B) which I am more inclined to join.

As per Canada immigration website, one can change DLI / college/program but they mention it can be done by Students who are already in Canada and started college (in this scenario College A - Course A).

Now, in this scenario,
If Student Permit is already in progress with College A, course B, then can we update application and change to College B, Course B ? or wait for Student permit decision and then next question arises:

If Student Permit is approved, then and since I have not traveled to Canada, so do we need to re-apply the Student Permit ?

That sounds like a question for the canadian embassy.
I'd say get the information from an official source like the embassy or the ministry, preferably in writing (email)

Yes, agreed. In the meantime, if you don't hear back immediately (things are chaotic right now), you might also ask the school you'll be joining to see if they have any advice.
