You won't find a "freshers MBA" that's worth it. Any internationally-accredited MBA program will require you to have at least 2 or 3 years of work experience.

So if you don't have any work experience the best options are either (1) work for 2-3 years, or (2) do a ranked MSc or masters in finance program.

In Canada, the only ranked MSc program is HEC Montreal. It's a good program.

There are other MScs from accredited schools as well, but some of them require work experience. Telfer, Queen's, Sauder, etc. Rotman has some really good finance programs but you're going to need work experience for those.

I think they're comparable. Schulich might have the edge because it's in Toronto, but it's not as comprehensive as the Rotman program. The Schulich program has some good capital markets/private equity/regulatory curriculum.

The big difference is that the Schulich master in finance program is one year while the Sauder MSc in finance is two years. In the second year you'd drill down into more theoretical finance topics, take electives, etc.

Depends. I would contact the schools yourself and ask about these kinds of things.

In general, I would think that Schulich would be better for a job in financial services/hedge funds/money markets, simply because it's in Toronto; while Sauder would offer more corporate finance roles.

But you should follow-up with the schools, do your own research, etc.
