I'm applying to the McGill MBA. I have a question about my letters of recommendation. I can either have 2 from supervisors at my current company (different divisions); or 1 from my current supervisor and 1 from an academic professor who I worked closely with during my undergrad. Which do you think is preferable?

Guys, any thoughts on Ryerson now that it is ranked in the Economist?
It's hard to take the Economist ranking seriously since it's based entirely on surveys filled out by the schools, alumni, and current students. It can be a useful too but I wouldn't use it as the only factor when making a decision. For my money, there are much better schools in Toronto...

My understanding is that to work in Montreal after graduation you're probably going to want have a good level of business French.
Can you elaborate? I'm interested in McGill but my French is grade school level. I am interested in the availability of jobs in Montreal in terms of only English fluency.

The program will probably not give you as much of a base in general management/administration as an MBA would - and pretty much narrows your career focus to one field - but if you're set on healthcare it seems like it might work.

As I can already see you have decided to quit by your 9000th post, so i would like to ask one more question, so that you can sum up your valuable answer in one post. I have opted EU and Canada as options towards by MBA, but both without GMAT,could you suggest which option would be better & if EU then which Country as UK has already taken a exit from EU, (looking post study visa options) and which B schools in Canada as well without GMAT as it is little tough to find.
Eagerly waiting for your reply,
Ayush

Alberta, BC, Manitoba and Ontario are the provinces with the forecast of greatest growth (http://www.rbc.com/economics/economic-reports/pdf/provincial-forecasts/provfcst-jun2016.pdf) so I would focus there.
To be honest, I cannot really recommend a non-GMAT school. If you're not motivated enough to take the GMAT, I doubt that you are motivated to move to another continent and make a life there. Take a look at Why you should take the GMAT http://bit.ly/WhyGMAT
PS Some people spend more time buying a car or picking a holiday than it takes to prepare for the GMAT. Examine your priorities.
