It seems that the MBA-I is aimed mainly at international students without prior degrees in business, while the MBA is aimed principally at part-time domestic students with prior degrees in business. What the two groups share is no deep need for in-country placement.

Why are you focussed on Regina?

So in your opinion, will MBA-I written on my CV be a disadvantage?
I do fear that in MBA-I i might not have the class fellows, an important part of learning at par with my knowledge or background -in terms of studies.

I have some family member in regina. Plus, Saskatchewan's SINP seemed enticing.

I actually have a professional accounting degree (ACCA), CGA canada recognizes and gives some exemptions. I dont know what factors to look into when you go university selecting, so I went with one where I have someone I know.

Please feel free to add your thoughts on university selection and Uregina/ Saskatchewan province.

I was thinking take admission in MBA, get a 'graduate degree' and If i get a feel for it, get CGA done -a professional degree. The thing is, after my professional degree, I do feel I need a graduate degree, professional degrees when fully recognized give you benefits but a graduate degree is kinda Gold (unless really poor university, you get recognition everywhere).

I don't think Duncan meant that the actual wording on the degree is problematic; it's more that the degree and associated career services aren't really suited to your goals.

Unfortunately, there's no real internationally-accredited MBA program in the province. For something that will be more valuable, you'd have to go to west to Alberta (Calgary/Haskayne or University of Alberta) - or of course to Ontario (York/Schulich or Rotman in Toronto).
