Best MBA program with fee waiver

Hi All,

I would like to persue for full time MBA. Based on my profile what do you guys recommend

Experience:
i'm working as Manager Primary-Production in Philip Morris International in Pakistan with an experience of 4.5 years.

Certifications:
I'm Six Sigma Black Belt certified. Also, i'm Certified Lead Auditor in ISO 9001 and FSSC 22000

Education:
Graduate in Mechanical Engineering with 3.5/4 CGPA
GMAT: 690

Wish is to get admission to any of the top 50 B-Schools with 50-100% fee waiver

You're not going to find many. Usually the large fee waivers go to students who have extraordinary or highly unique backgrounds.

One thing that could help is if you get a really great GMAT score, and outscore the averages of the schools that you're applying to. B-schools want to recruit students with higher GMAT scores because it helps them increase the quality of future cohorts, so they often give scholarships to those with really high scores.

I don't know where you're looking to study, but many of the decent MBA programs in Singapore (SMU, Nanyang), have average GMAT scores in the 660-670 range. Get a 760 and I would think you'd be in a good position to get a scholarship.

Thanks Laurie to really open my eyes on GMAT.

I am looking for the following schools

1. ESADE
2. IMD
3. SDA Bocconi
4. SAID Business School
5. Manchester Business School

What score would be good to get the waiver in these Schools?

No one knows for sure, but my gut feeling says (if you are serious about 50 or 100% discount): No way at IMD and Said. Bocconi also questionable. 690 GMAT is the average at Said and (maybe) only slightly higher than average at IMD. Statistic-wise you are not overly interesting to them.

Also you don't fall into a group they would need to diversify their class: Women / exotic country / exotic working background.

But: If your interviews and essays were fantastic, you could get a 5,000/10,000 grant.

Robert H Smith School of Business, College Park (Offers GA & TA positions)
Scheller College of Business (Offers GA & TA positions)
EDHEC, Lille (offers 50% waiver at 650+ GMAT)
