Personally, I wouldn't do any online MBA from a business school that's not accredited by AACSB, AMBA, or EQUIS. As far as I know, there is no online MBA program in India that meets this criteria.

But the great thing about online MBA programs is just that - you can do them from pretty much anywhere. There are some decent programs offered by global schools that you can indeed do from India. I would look into the following business schools for some accredited, quality programs:

IE Business School
IU Kelley
Florida - Warrington
MBA@UNC
Warwick Business School
Henley Business School

Avoid any american programs unless you are going to the top 5.

They are overpriced, and despite the various ranking tables evaluating them highly, having worked in America for 10 years, the masters graduates I have met are seriously lacking with fundamental flaws in their education. The majority of senior executives in big american companies are non Americans with non american educations - that should tell you all to need know.

maybe it's a particular school of Amity which got accredited but there is an article on AACSB which talks of them being accredited.

That means the school is a member of AACSB, not that it's accredited by AACSB. Big difference.

On the long list of member schools, you'll see the blue icon of the AACSB seal for the members with accreditation. Amity is not accredited.

PS In India, only ISB and T. A. Pai Management Institute have AACSB accreditation.
