Dear All,

One thing is for sure, please don't join Manchester Business School (MBS) here in Dubai.

I am an existing student. And we are from Dubai, Oman, .., come to study here; but they keep harassing us with their inadequacies, incompetency, and no solutions to our concerns.

Don't be surprised if one of your exam or workshop is not in the country it is supposed to be. And you know this at the end moment.

Be prepared for giving two exams in one day back to back in different locations.

To all these problems they have a simple answer. "It's all decided by the UK office", and no solution, deal with it.

The local team are just puppets, with no communications channel for you to raise your concerns to the UK team.

It?s a very bureaucratic and grossly unorganized university, who act on its own whim with utter disregards to the part time students.

Students join MBS by seeing their ranking in FT.com; but that is only for the UK MBS. The situations at the local subsidiaries is abominable.

There are no lectures, no classes, even in the workshops you will have some slide reader dump teacher, whose whole aim would be to just read the slides finish it, and wait to munch on the lunch.

We got trapped here by enrolling here and paying these stupid people!!!

PLEASE please and please YOU Don?t make the mistake, which we did by joining MBS!!!

Hello,

We are sorry to hear that your student experience thus far with MBS has not lived up to our usual high standards. Our Global MBA programme is run with the same quality standards and academic focus across our 7 global centres. The faculty who teach on the programme are all part of MBS and travel from the UK to the various centres to conduct the workshops. We do also run our exams across approximately 120 worldwide exam centres, with all exam dates being scheduled by the programme team in Manchester.

I agreed with the post .I am alumni and I have not got career counselling and the management of MBS avoid to communicate with Alumni and just focus new students where they are getting new amount of investment by the those students who does not know that they do not have fruitful career through this institute. They made the false promises with the students and show them golden dreams to take out their investment out. but at the end of the course the students knew that they have been trapped.

Dear MBS,
I agreed with the post as I am also Alumni and not got the any facilities or guidance wherr I flourish my career . Not only me All my friend Alumni have the same thinking about the MBS and there is no career path even after successfully completed MBA program. Absolutely Wrong Investment and bad decision made in my life ever with MBS. I will regret all in my life and definitely will counselling to the new students to take a wise decision while thinking to get an admission for the MBA.

This sort of anonymous comment is meaningless. I'm an MBS alumnus, and there are a wide range of career services for students and alumni. There's an archive here of the alumni newsletter, which mentions many of them: https://us10.campaign-archive.com/home/?u=44684265d8ebe046fa9c72645&id=5455ff8634

If you have a bad career outcome after an MBA like a school like MBS, it's almost certainly because you don't want the roles that employers hire for from that school, or because you did not perform well in the programme.
