MBA at National Taiwan U

Anybody here do their MBA in Taiwan and can divulge some information on the quality of the program at National Taiwan University?

I looked through their website, checked businessweek, ft, topmba and can't find much information on their Global MBA program. There is information on the salary for those attending the EMBA program, but none on the MBA program.

I know it is AACSB accredited, so it reaches minimal US MBA standards. The program is 2 years long in length. Tuition isn't bad. It is Taiwan's best University. Salary for those in EMBA program breaks 200,000 limit (with 58% increase in salary), which is pretty decent, so obviously decently paid executives in Taiwan think highly enough of the school to enroll. That is basically all the information i found.

I find it weird that there is no focus on Taiwanese MBAs at all. They are all so obscure, despite the quality they may provide, and the good price they are offered at (due to government subsidies, they can't go above a certain level, no matter how much it costs the school to offer the program).

NTU is located in Taipei. Taipei's GDP per capita is the second highest in Asia (next to Tokyo). This is comparing cities of course, not country. It beats out traditional jauggernauts like Singapore and HK for GDP per capita. And it pretty much doubles/triples GDP per capita of smaller financial centers like Seoul, Beijing etc... And yet it draws so little attention.

But in terms of national influence, NTU has the same influence as HKU or HKUST would have in HK. Taipei has a lot of economic activity going on, but the fact that no one is interested at all in exploiting that is interesting. But maybe that's because top MBA's abroad come into Taipei so no one wants to do local MBA? No idea, it's all a guess.
