I am an Indian citizen presently residing in the USA. I have completed my 3 years bachelors degree in Commerce in the year 2000 under Calcutta University ( West Bengal, India). Thereafter I joined The Institute of Chartered Accountants and completed the intermediate course offered by them , but could not pass the final exam. I have worked for an MNC in Bangalore, India for 1 year and 2 months in their Finance Department in the year 2006-2007. But due to personal reasons I left the job and in year 2009 came to USA. I want to resume my studies once again. I have tried to get admitted in an MBA program in the USA, but since i have just a 3 yrs bachelor degree I have been asked to do the undergrad program again in the USA. That is more costly and time consuming. Therefore I thought of taking an MBA course from India . I needed few information before I could start afresh. If some one could please answer my queries I would be deeply grateful.

My questions are,

1. Is there any age bar to join the regular MBA program in the acclaimed institutes in India ( I am 34+ now)
2. Is there a possibility for me to get admission in any of these Institutes ?
3. When the next session of MBA course is starting?

4. When should I apply for such?

5. Can I take the GMAT instead of CAT? If yes by what time I should submit my scores for the next session?

6.How much GMAT score is expected for admission to any acclaimed Indian Institute?

Someone from Indian will perhaps be able to answer the questions about India, but what you say about the US is not universal there. I put the following search into Google:-
MBA "three year degree" site:.edu

Looking through the first few pages I saw several examples of schools that would accept students with three year degrees. If you were do research more seriously, you will be able to find very many options but, in a miniute, I found:

There are also schools what will allow for work experience, for example:

If there are universities that you are specifically interested in, I would contact them directly to see if they would consider your educational background. They might not state it explicitly on their websites.

Hello ishita, first off all I want to say thanks for giving me chance to solve your problem.

For education, there is no age bar. You could find many management colleges in worldwide where many working people doing their degree.

In India you will get colleges like ISB, IIPM and MSM(Metropolitan School of Management) allowing working person to do MBA degree. This type of institute has no age bar but only you have working experience in any industry.
