Hey,

I read that there were a group of NUS grads that were trying to set up primary schools in depressed Chinese villages. "NUS hope schools," they're called, are supposed to give hope to little Chinese kids who had none before.

Does anybody know anything about this? seems like publicity for NUS - what's in it for the grads?

Government funding to buy a Ferrari before you're 28. :) It's very much noble and all - but there's more than meets the eye. I doubt any NUS grad would be truly that altruistic.
