Hi,

I am from india, and belong to the largest competitive ppol out here: IT professional with 3 yrs experience.

I have a GMAT score of 690. I am applying to NUS and NTU. Can some one tell me what are my chances of getting there, and what do these schools look out for. Also, would taking the GMAT again help?

How is SMU in comparison to these 2 schools?

Hi,
According to me u've got the minimum work experience of 2 years required. GMAT score's good. Though >700 would have been to secure definite seat in NUS. How's your extra curricular profile?

Have you considered Nanyang? They've got quite a young average age MBA class 26+, they can't have too much more experience that you?

Why NUS dropped out from 100 at FT ranking? Does anyone know the inside of story?

They claim it's "something to do with due to a technicality", can't think what that would be though - it does seem strange that they should just drop out from 35th place to nothing!! Having said that, how the FT rankings work is a bit of a mystery.

with your profile you can go beyond NTU/ NUS...you can go to IESE, IMD, LBS, IE, HEC, INSEAD, UT-Austin, etc.
I can list 30+ more schools that are better than NTU/NUS.

the NTU/NUS ranking has been way too over-rated...
with the degree from NTU/NUS, you will get good job in singapore... but only in Singapore... that's it...

I think with your profile, with MBA degree from better schools, you can get good job in any country (ie. US, Europe, East asia, Middle east).
