I'm a Lebanese with 6+ years professional experience in industrial automation and waste management. I hold a BSc in Mechanical Engineering (CPGA: 3.24/4) and a MSc in Mechatronics Engineering (CGPA: 3.36/4) + a Postgraduate Diploma in Project Management (CGPA: 3.61/4) - All from reputable institutions in Lebanon.
GMAT not taken yet but I will do my best to excel in it.
I'm interested in applying for a 2 years full time MBA program at a prestigious business school in Australia. Upon graduation, the program should allow me to apply for a 2 years post-study work permit (485 VISA). The long-term objectives are:
- Work and live in Australia
- Join a multinational company focused on automation, engineering, energy or renewables. Targets: GE, Alstom, Schneider Electric, ABB, Siemens and others.
- Work in business development, consulting or production management.
Sadly, MBS and AGSM only offer 1-1.5 years MBA programs so that doesn't suit my plan.
1) Please recommend the best schools that offer a 2 year MBA program in Australia.
2) Are those schools well "connected" with industry and do they "guarantee" employability? (assuming high performance during studies).
3) Would you recommend alternative paths such as a Masters in International Business for the same purpose?
