Do you speak German? If so, at what level?

An AACSB accredited school will always help. Pforzheim grads get a lot of exciting opportunities to do internships and projects in lot many domains.
But Esslingen might work for you since you are already in SAP domain for long . You wouldn't like to switch fields at this juncture.

@ Razors Edge - I do speak German language but I have to improve on Technical German. I pursued my Masters in Mechatronics from Hochschule Ravensburg-Weingarten. I was working for a German Company in Ravensburg for 2 years. Then I worked for the same German company in Singapore for 2 years and then I am working for Indian companies from past 6 years

@Thesouthpaw - I am presently 33 years old. Is it right time to switch domains? If carrier opportunities would be better then I don't mind changing my fields at this juncture. Kindly share your opinion

With your experience, I would not suggest switching now. You can go to leadership position in your own domain after MBA. Also, I feel you should target 1 year MBA. You can get back in the industry sooner . But it is all my personal opinion.

If you have to decide between those two universities, I suggest you to go for Hochschule Pforzheim.

Reasons:

* HS Pforzheim is AACSB-accredited; HS Esslingen is not.
* From what I know, HS Pforzheim gets you closer to companies (Company visits, projects with companies, companies in classroom, job fairs, etc...)
* HS Pforzheim program is more focused on business, than on engineering (This is the case for HS Esslingen).
* HS Pforzheim has even a small specialization in both International Management and Sustainability.


I would say that, obviously it depends on what you want and what you want to do after your MBA studies. If you want to stick to engineering, then probably it would make sense to go for HS Esslingen, but if you want to switch your career then HS Pforzheim would make more sense. Just my two cents.
