CEIBS acquires Lorange Institute in Switzerland

I saw this and found it interesting:

CEIBS has acquired Switzerland's Lorange Institute.

Looks like CEIBS is trying to establish a campus in Europe. The school can use this campus to help Chinese managers make headway for their companies in Europe. It will probably also help European companies who are trying to break into China.

I wonder what kind of programs the school will deliver in Europe. I'm thinking executive development courses and potential EMBA modules, but I doubt there will be a full-time MBA there.

Very interesting. Lorange, of course, ran IMD and is looking for an exit. I doubt there will be big changes.

I foresee this being primarily a way for Chinese managers to come to Europe and have a "base of operations," so they can take exec ed courses, network with European firms, have meetings, etc.
