Energy / Oil & Gas markets x MBA - MSc

Hello everyone,

My name is Felipe and I have 6 years of experience with supply chain management in oil & gas industry. I have applied for ESCP MSC In Energy and Robert Gordon MBA in Oil & Gas program.
I do speak french and english so living in either would not be a problem. However, was wondering which option would be more suitable given visa situation x finding work after program in both countries.
Regarding the UK i have heard that it has been really difficult for international students to find a job, even had gone to this program at Robert Gordon in Aberdeen (European Oil & Gas capital) while in France you have internship period and after you get 1 year to find for a job with possibility to get CDI but, in the other hand, France is not that strong regarding oil & gas market.
Have any of you had experiences with any of these programs? My goals are to continue working on Oil & gas companies like Total, Shell, BP and so on in France or UK.
Any comments regarding this particular market would be much appreciated.

These are really aimed at two entirely different kinds of candidates: the MBA is aimed at individuals like yourself with experience, while the MSc is designed for those fresh out of their undergraduate studies.

To put it in perspective, the average salary of those who have completed the MSc at ESCP is 40k EUR. If you're already making more than that, the MBA would probably be more in your ballpark.

Yes, that was something i was thinking about. Although i question myself whether a Msc would be a good option for an especialized area such finance, supply chain etc even if the person already has experience. What do you think?

The thing is that my goal is to work and live in Paris, so it would be better to study (if possible in french) there and have all the post course benefits like doing the internship and have 1 year time to look for a CDI after. However, couldn't find any especific Oil & Gas / Energy MBAs such the one at Robert Gordon, that was one of the reasons i was looking for the master option.

Regarding the salary, converting from my currency to EUR is almost 40k and in my currency it self is past that.
