Esslingen Admission?

My name is Kamran.Sir,I am from a computer science background and have landed on SAP functional side(SAP SD) .So it requires good process knowledge.I have been offered by hoschule esslingen a place in mba.I cannot afford expensive mbas from other unis.Altough I have a very good academic background but I need an mba just for knowldge and international exposure.Job in SAp will be a big plus for me over there.My german skills are very low.What do you recommend?Secondly,Does term 'hoshcule' spoil the resume.Another thing I have noticed that uni names only remain recongized in the country,out side all of the uni sound the same for employers ,except for schools like harvard or mit.I am confused plz help me.

You can't get a better value for money MBA with your budget than Esslingen. It's an locally-accredited MBA with good connections to employers. Certainly a Hochschule is not as respected in Germany as a traditional university, but the firms that hire from that MBA know the reputation of that course.

Recognition does not always work the way you think it does. Firms that employ MBAs are aware of hundreds of top schools; that's why the rankings are so well used.

Start improving your German now so you have the most opportunities.

Ok this is a very suprising answer :).As going through the other forums and your posts you have not recommended hs- esslingen for its accreditation.But for my case you have strongly recommend it ,I highly appericate it,but what is the mean reason of difference of opinion .Thank you

No, that's that not the case. Esslingen has ASIIN accreditation, and that's better than nothing. However, I don't recommend it to students who can get somewhere better. Of course, you should get into the best school you can: you'll get double the salary and much faster career progression. But if your budget is limited to Esslingen then there's really nothing better for such a low price unless you take an MSc instead.

Secondly do u think,a computer science degree with an MBA in IM(Which is usually for engineers) a good choice according to the career i have diverted to SAP.Does it make sense? I need a MBA for sure,but opting for IM is due to limited options.

One thing more ,I check out the courses .Usually the IM courses have subjects such as supply chaibn management and stuff.Will this topic be covered in the other subjects.

Secondly,can industrial management can be linked consultancy or business analyst as I think it is for the production managers having enineering background?Whats your take?
