Depends on (1) how eager you are to improve your French, and (2) which schools you could get into.

If you're aiming at IE Business School or IESE and have a solid chance, either would be good options.

But if you're looking at lower tier Spanish schools like UC3M or whatever, but had an option to do the MBA at HEC Paris, I would suggest working on your French and going with the latter.

Esade and eada could also be options but I think the schools can also offer a sober assessment of the value of your past work experience. Are you sure that a bigger pool, like London or Frankfurt, is not the right option. If you are focused on finance perhaps the London MiF will give you better options.

Duncan, I have read many of your posts and they have been really helpful. I have not considered programs in the UK due to visa rules, do you not think this is wise?

Also, I have seen you advise other applicants that going to Germany without German language fluency can be a bad idea. I have heard good things about Frankfurt School of Finance but have not as of yet considered it as a realistic option because I cannot speak German beyond pleasantries.

Despite the visa rules the UK remains the best place for those without another European language.

I think if you're looking at wealth / asset management firms, location does matter to an extent. LBS would be ideal, many firms have recruited in the past, including BNP Paribas, Vanguard, etc. A school like IE might also work - I know that JP Morgan recruits there.

Although there's a lot of negatively surrounding UK visa rules, it's not as bad as people make it out to be, if you go to a good school. Certainly, grads from LBS, landing jobs at the positions that they tend to get, normally don't have any problems.
