Hi,
IMD MBA starts in January 2008, admissions are still open, deadlines are August 1 and September 1.
TiasNimbas sounds good to me though, why not?

Hi Vikas,
Have you thought of BMI, Barcelona Management Institute? I am currently a student there and would recommend that you look into it. Their website is:
www.barcelonami.org I have found the material to be very current with the focus on challenging existing practices as well as equipping you to take advantage of new trends-the online social communities and blogging being two examples. Their focus on practical skills and reason for its creation were the selling factors for me when I began looking at various business schools.
Good luck,
Tracy-Lee

Hey Vikas,
I have to correct Tracy, BMI does not belong to the European top tier, and until now we have been talking only on those in this thread - since you said in your first question that this is what you are looking for.
So, why not have a look at BMI, if they have a program starting in January - but keep in mind that its not a top tier school, and that if you look for comparable schools as BMI, you'll find quite a few programs in Europe starting in January. But that's another research.
Jona

Hi Jona,
Thats what I got also from my research. I believe HEC, INSEAD, IMD, IMPERIAL are some of the colleges.
Though I am leaning a bit on ESMT as well considering their faculty and schol etc. but It is still a risky bet.
Thanks,
Vikas

Yes, you are competely right, and besides those you mention, you should have a look at the programs of RSM, TiasNimbas, Nyenrode in Nehterlands; IE, IESE, ESADE, in Spain; VlerickLeuven in Belgium, and maybe Bocconi in Italy.
France is rather competitive in higher education, you find several good MBAs more.
If you are considering UK also, thats a special case like France, many good programs. Just to name some besides Tanaka: LBS, Oxford and Cambridge, Manchester B-School and some others.
Hope that helps!
Of course I did not check if they have MBAs starting in January and still open for application, that you should find out youself.

Hi Jona - BMI is in fact in the top tier as judged by its Professors (who have won teaching awards and are affiliated with the leading programs). It is not yet top ranked as this is an indicator with a minimum 5 year lag.
There are no comparable schools. If you think about it, since BMI has the top professors from the top schools even the top schools (where you necessarily find the middle and lower levels on the bell curve) do not offer a similar learning experience. If equivalent programs existed the Academic Director, Dr. John Branch of the University of Michigan (Ph.D. Cambridge University) would not have bothered to build it.
Full Disclosure: I am participating in the FIND MBA board as an excercise to provide an illustration for a segment I am teaching of the course "What the CEO wants you to know" at BMI
www.barcelonami.org One of the readings for the segment is

Hey Vikas,
Also look at Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School. This is a reputed business school in Europe. This school has triple accreditions and three campuses-Leuven, Gent and St.Petersburg. Just look out for this school. Well, this is surely a very good bet..!!!!!
