Hello, what do people think of the HEC Paris MSc in International Finance program? It's the number one program in the FT MIF rankings, and the employment outcomes look quite good.
I have 2 years of work experience as a financial analyst. I would like to jump start my career to take it to the next level. Maybe the HEC Paris program is right for me, but I am also looking at some UK MBA programs too, including Westminster and Birmingham.
The pros of the MBAs are that they are MBAs, and I think the general management focus would take me a long way in my career. The negatives are that they cost more than the MSc program and the UK visa procedures are complicated if I want to work there after the program.
The main con of the HEC Paris MSc program is that I do not speak French (that well). I studied in High School but I have forgotten most of it!! That seems to be a big drawback. Plus, I don't know if having a specialized degree is good for my long term career. Otherwise, the price is right and like I mentioned earlier, the outcomes are very good.
Please advise!! Which is the best option?
