IE vs IMPERIAL Vs HEC

Hi All

I'm a tech/industrial design engineer with 12+ years of exp (5 in mid mng position) and indeed decided to move forward to higher management position.
Already operating on a global platform and willing to go on.
Strongly attracted by B-schools with good focus on Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Global Management
Among EMBAs in EU/UK my short list is:

1. Imperial
2. IE
3. HEC Paris
4. ESCP

They are all very similar in tuition fees so need more your impressions and experience on the content quality and ROI.
Your help&suggestion would be great.

Can you say more about your goals? It might come down to which school's alumni base overlaps the most with your future. IE is very Hispanic. ESCP and HEC are rather French, but the ESCP cohort will perhaps be the most international.

My goals are to complete a very deep tech experience with a EU "innovative" B-school and access higher position in my organization, which is indeed global.
An Innovation and Tech orientated school would be my target. What's your opinion of Imperial?

Since it's an engineering college, Imperial is the one with the most tech-oriented alumni base. I think HEC probably has the edge on curriculum because of its system of majors. If one of those really works for you, then it's a no brainer. The student quality will be highest at ESCP.

I would agree with Duncan, in terms of Imperial's appropriateness for tech-oriented students.

However, since it is only a 12 month program, you won't have an opportunity to go deep on focus areas. The HEC Paris program, however, is 16 months, which allows you to focus on a particular area (Entrepreneurship and Innovation might be interesting to you) as well as a field project, or a relevant certificate like Digital Innovation for Businesses.

Quite suprised to hear that ESCP EMBA cohort is strongest, most internationally-oriented I have no doubt.

In the FT ranking ESCP's 18th for work experience. IE's average salary is boosted by PPP. It's ESCP's choice to offer MS degrees rather than an MBA which conceals its strength.

I think that JD is looking for an emba rather than an mba (hence ESCP is in the list).

The EMBA at ESMT in Berlin might be worth considering as well, with its strong focus in technology and innovation (courses include "Leveraging technology for strategic innovation," "Managing technology capabilities," etc.)
