When you look at German forums you will discover that Munich Business School is considered to be a show-off institution. They are neither internationally accredited nor internationally ranked and the institution has more the character of a private commercial college than of an university. Up to now, I have not met one person who graduated from this school and it is really unknown in the business world.

If you plan to do your MBA in the German speaking countries Mannheim, St. Gallen, WHU and Goethe Frankfurt should be your top choices.

I am currently looking for a full-time MBA program in Munich. I have personally checked out some the known ones here including the above mentioned. The european business college is located in a very unattractive location in town - almost all courses take place in the evenings, and the I am not sure about the overall quality. The Technische Universität München (TUM) offers only part-time MBA but it is only a few years old and I think it is rather expensive for what it offers. I also checked out the Munich Business School - they offer only part-time courses to be taken place every other Friday evenings and Saturdays. As I understand it, they want applicants who already hold full-time jobs. As Munich is my main focus, is there something else that someone can recommend? Thanks, Viviane

To be honest: Munich is not an "MBA city" and there is no quality full-time MBA available in Bavaria. The programs offered by the private schools have a poor quality (e.g. Munich Business School). TUM is an excellent university, but it focusses on engineering and natural sciences. The MBA they offer is small and a part-time Executive MBA.

When you are looking for a good fulltime MBA program close to Munich, St. Gallen may be a good choice. It is located in Switzerland, but close to the German border. I have no information how easily it can be reached by car or train (approx. 2-3 hours). The travel time to Mannheim should be nearly the same (approx. 3 hours). Frankfurt is one hour more.

i hearby conclude that munich business school is a sure pitfall, though europe n 2 top it all germany is not my personal choice 4n MBA but i dnt kno from where i hrd 2 high about the college thus taut of applying..:(.

A word of advice to you good people.. I wasted my money with EU business school.. do your research first.. they have court cases etc. etc. are not state accredited etc. do your own research..

The good news is that IESE now has an executive MBA campus in Munich, so at last there is better choice in Bavaria than the Ohm school and ICN campus in Nuremberg, both of which are more for pre experience students.
