Your GMAT is maybe low in the context of IT Indian Applicants but is the average for the European schools.
Regarding your situation, if you do not have a European passport maybe is more difficult to get a job in Europe than your peers with EU passport. The best is to ask to the school or alumni.
Maybe some people can give you here more opinions and experiences.

A GMAT score of 680 is alright. Though it is not fantastic, it certainty falls in the considerable range.

Management consulting jobs are exciting, especially in Europe, you would have plenty opportunities to work with leading firms. Since last year till now, I have been working with leading firms such as Henkel, BMW, Novartis, Novo Nordisk, Roche and such through my programme with McKinsey.

Regarding your question of getting a work permit as a non European. Please allow me to tell you that this process is not going to be easy. There are 2 typical barriers for non European looking for jobs in Europe: 1) local language; 2) working permit application. However, this is not impossible. I am one good example and I have been helping many other non European who have graduated in Europe to secure for jobs here.

Does anyone knows universities at Barcelona which starts their MBA Full Time courses in March or april 2009?
I know that the European University starts on march but i would like to begin on march in a good and acredited university a MBA Full Time course but i can´t find anyone.

Regarding Spanish Schools, I would advise to focus on IESE and ESADE, which are the most prestigious. They both ask for a min of 2 years fulltime work experience, and the average is around 4 years.

You may consider to apply directly (if GMAT is ok then do it)

Why do you recruit from BMI over EADA?

Are you saying that because you don't recruit from EADA that its students aren't as well prepared for the workforce?

I'm curious. I saw in another thread that EADA has very good job placement rates.

Also... I went to a middle tier American university for my undergraduate degree. The company I ended up working for made a point not to recruit from my university, even though it is nearby, because there are other universities with better reputations also in the area. However, my education was very decent and I was able to network and be offered a job at the company before I even graduated. So; I think as long as you are a motivated individual you won't have trouble finding a good job after graduation.

I think I got a better deal than some of my ivy leauge co-workers who will be paying down their college debt for the next 10 years! (I didn't have to take out any loans.)

Afer working 2 years in Barcelona as expatriate, I went back to my country and working in the same company here. I am searching for MBA programs in Barcelona. My intetion is to move back to Barcelona and while doing a MBA program, to work at the same time.
Anyone knows which universty and MBA program in Barcelona is more suitable to my intention. Moreover, I should find a job ( engineering) in Barcelona, do you have idea where ( which internet site) can I search for such jobs (for foreigners) ? Actually though I stayed in BArcelona 2 years, my Spanish is not fluent. I do have more 2 years of work permision in Spain.

As it says all over this messageboard, IESE and ESADE are the best programs in Barcelona.

EADA is a second tier, but still very good school with accrediation.

UPF isn't acreddited but has a good local reputation.

All of those schools offer both full and part time MBAs in both English and Spanish.

There may be other programs that offer only Spanish instruction, but I have only been looking at the ones that offer English.

There are other, smaller programs, in Barcelona (like BMI, I don't remember the names of the others) that teach in English but their credibility seems questionable based on comments on this board.

If you want to go to a prestigious, world-renowned school, IESE or ESADE is for you.

If that's not important, and you just want a good quality education for a cheaper price, try EADA or UPF (aka Universitat Pompeu Fabra)

Bachelor of Engineering in computer Sceince (76.33%)
12th from UP Board (66.20%)
10th from UP Board (63.00%)

Exp: Presently more than 5 yrs of exp as a software developper.
Currently working with an US based MNC (1 year 10 months)
1 year: TCS
2 years 4 months: In a small software company in Noida
3 months worked as a lecturer

Could you please answere following queries about EADA international MBA:

1. How known is this school internatioanally? How is the reputation as compare to other schools in Europe?

2. What are the job prospects in US, UK, and mainly in India?

3. For career growth, is it really worth of joining this programme?
