MIB program at Grenoble Ecole De Management

Hello,

I have a 4 year professional degree in Information Technology along with a one year PG Diploma in International Marketing from Delhi University. I also have 2 years of experience working with two multinational companies.

I wanted to know the prospects of the MIB program at Grenoble Ecole De Management. I am aiming for the 2014 session and hence wanted to seek advise on:

-The Placements for Indians
-Post Study Visa for Indians
-Would it be easy for me to secure a job in France so that I can work for 5 years and return back to India with the valuable experience. If not, would employers consider my MIB degree at par with the best business schools in India?

Also, it would be best if you could provide a SWOT analysis of the program relating to me.

Have you considered an MBA? A ranked MBA program in France will provide many more job opportunities for you after graduation. There's Emlyon, INSEAD, and especially HEC Paris, which has one of the highest rates of people moving internationally after graduation.

In terms of the MIB program at Grenoble, it's high-quality, and ranked, which means that it's better than an unaccredited MBA program, at the very least. However, I would be highly critical of post-graduation employability, and in particular the depth of the school's career services specifically for this program. What I would do is contact the school's career services department and ask for statistics on how many international students can land jobs in France after graduation.

And of course, language will be an issue - do you speak French?

If you're seeking post study work options , being an Indian without dual nationality, at the current scenaio it would be extremely difficult. Especially as new Eurozone rules commit to filling any position with an expat only if that position couldn't be filled in by a Euro national. Working in France would be a challenge if you don't know french, as much as in Italy if you dont know Italian . Achieving success in work life in europe today largely depends on fluent communication skills - in the respective local language.
