MiM or MBA for CA Finalist

Hi, I wanted some clarity on whether a MiM from a top 50 global college would build upon my career better, or should I wait a few more years and pursue MBA. I would prefer doing my education now, but would be okay waiting a few more years for an MBA if that's better for my overall career growth. That being said, my profile is as follows:

I have completed Levels 1 and 2 of the Indian Chartered Accountancy Course, and am going to write the Final level for a 4th time. Given the difficulty of the exam and my multiple attempts, I have decided to try another career path.
I also have a Bachelor of Commerce degree, securing 63% with a 'First Class' grade. I recognise my grades aren't great as I was focused on my CA couse primarily.
As a requirement of the CA course, I have a 3 year articleship experience with a very reputed pan-India firm of Chartered Accountants, where I worked in the Internal Audit department with major listed and non-listed clients and have been a part of many management consultancy assignments.

There is an ambiguity regarding whether my articleship experience will be considered valid for MBA (my consultant says it will not). So I recoursed towards MiM with the following colleges:
1. NEOMA Business School
2. Audencia Business School
3. Montpellier Business School

Please give your opinion if I should defer my education plans or go for MiM now.

Assuming that you don't speak French at a professional level, these schools don't make sense for me.

Considering these courses are fully English taught, why is French a problem?
Also, I've scheduled French classes beginning next week to address any problems with employment after graduating.

See.. Duncan told you not to choose french business schools like Audencia .. still you didn't listen to anybody .. Those high rankings dont matter to Indian students who dont speak any french.. and u will most certainly not be able to get a C1/C2 level in french by the end of your course as learning a language takes years.. The language of business in Europe is not ENGLISH! Its the local language of the country which most people ignore because of the cheap cost of studies. Native level proficiency in french is needed for 99% of jobs in france.. go to job search websites and u will find that requirement... Your consultant has fooled u and u too have been brainwashed completely.. now u will do nothing but regret later and end up in a classroom filled with Indians and only make Indian friends.. your rigid nature will take u downhill .This will will be a life lesson for u

And AUDENCIA has given admission to all international students including u (a CA dropout with so poor marks in B.com).. which shows that there is no selectivity .. the quality of students and classmates u will have there will also be very low... that school is greedy for money, has partnerships with agents and consultants to give them commissions.. I dont think any high ranked school such as IIM's, HEC Paris, etc do this ...then how can u justify Audencia's reputation??

Failure rates are very high for accounting exams, and it's not helpful to roast this person for resitting. The question this person poses is: should they take a MiM now or wait until they have enough experience to take an MBA?

I don't like the way you roast Audiencia and educational agents. Agents are used by many accredited and robust schools outside the very top tier. In the UK, for comparison, I know Aston, Leeds, Newcastle, NTU and Westminster use agents heavily. Partnering with them is a wise response to the challenge that the vast majority of people who apply to top schools cannot be admitted. Audiencia is not HEC and very few people would go there if they could go to HEC. It's as ridiculous as criticising someone for staying at a Hilton because the Ritz is better.

Hi Duncan,
I would like to report this person. He had been joining Audencia's international students' official Facebook group and telling lies about having friends that studied there and how it was a choice we would "regret" because we are "stupid". This person has been kicked twice from the group, but he joins again after changing names. He uses meaningless criteria about classroom being too full of Indians (if that isn't racism) and France not being safe, to judge that Audencia takes whoever applies.

You're so quick to judge without seeing my professional work and history. The fact that you're trying to search the internet high and low to discredit Audencia, clearly shows you have some agenda, god knows what.

Why would you pick 3rd rate schools in FR?

My take would be:
The question is not MiM vs MBA as you will NEITHER be admitted to the top MiMs NOR the top MBAs. The question is rather: How can you work on your profile to generate enough "star dust" to be at least considered by the top programmes.

My action plan: Take the exam - try to pivot to Big4 in India as this will be at least an employer international schools will recognize and rate. Then shoot your shot at Tier1/2 MiMs due to lack of experience.
