Project Management (SKEMA / NTNU / Grenoble / MUN )

Hi,

I'm an engineer by 1st degree and have 4 years or full time work experience with 2 years as a Project Manager. I've got admission confirmed to
1- Masters in International Business (MIB) from Grenoble (GGSB)
2- Masters in Engineering Management (MEM) from Memorial University of Newfoundland (MUN, Canada)
Got final interview call for
3- Masters in Program & Project Management and Business Development from SKEMA - spring intake 2013
And at the end, positively looking for admission to
4- Master in Project Management (MPM) form NTNU, Norway.

I'll be an international student in all of these countries with zero skills of french or Norwegian and have not appeared in GMAT. I'm looking forward for something closer to project management for that SKEMA is accredited by PMI but NTNU offers no fees and probability of job after graduation is also high in Norway. Grenoble's rankings are high but not specific to Project Management. MEM from MUN, Canada is somewhat close project management with add on of engineering that's a plus but i'm having Visa problems with that and not sure about jobs.

-Looks good since it was/is part of the EUROMPM.
-However, doesn't seem its accredited by PMI.
-Saves bucks since no tuition fees.
-If one can get hold of Norwegian in 2 yrs time then job prospects are good.

BTW, i'm not into IT so looking for some non-IT PM :)

Because these are different degrees in different countries, I think you might need to think more about your career goals.

NTNU looks good but, to be honest, I am specialist in MBAs and I don't know the outcomes for students from these programmes.

The SKEMA program is a good one - and the business development component is especially relevant for some people - there's a focus on business plan writing, project financing, etc. - certainly good if you're looking to start a new business or project.

But if you have enough work experience and can get a solid GMAT score - I usually suggest that a full-time ranked MBA is a better investment. You'll usually get some project management curriculum - and in some programs (like Pittsburgh - Katz and Iowa - Tippie, for instance) you can pursue project management (PMP) certification at the same time.
