Bradford v Surrey v others

Hi! I had been working as an equity sales manager for 9 years in Russia. I have offers from Bradford, Surrey and other schools.
Bradford is in top 50 european ranking, Surrey is not. However, the university ranking-Surrey is 7, Bradford is 55. Should we take into consideration university ranking? Moreover, Bradford provides scholarship.
I do not need much math for much job, do not want to take GMAT and the programme which focusses much on math.
Could you pls share you opinion which school to choose. Thanks.

I would certainly choose Bradford. I'm not sure which university ranking could place Surrey in 7th place but, while the cities are very different, I don't see Bradford and Surrey being on very different levels as universities. Certainly Bradford School of Management has a much stronger and better alumni network and international reputation. Bradford also has an advantage in that the business school has its own dedicated campus.

Do you have any career goals? Since these two MBAs both have accreditation, the level of maths will be similar.

Many thanks for you reply.
You know-my position is already quite high-vice-President level, the next step is managing level like head of department or CEO, I have already 200 people working for me, but I do not manage them. My goal is to reach the next level or may be find myself somewhere else within finance, but not in brokerage only.

Interesting. I am not surprises that Bradford is offering you a scholarship. You might want to consider an MBA aimed more at senior staff, like the Ashridge MBA, but Bradford is not a bad choice.
