Duncun, thanks.. actually few of your other posts impressed me. I talked to few actual alumnies of EMLyon. It seems placement is not that good, at least now, due to economic crisis. No placement yet in current batch and not even 50% of last batch. Hence I am skeptical.

I am not sure about the DK, I hope condition is better in Scandinavian countries.

My problem is that I will not be permitted automatic work visa unless I manage a job, hence that is also a big point of worry.

Take a look at the IMF forecasts: http://www.imf.org/external/pubs/ft/weo/2012/01/pdf/text.pdf The European economies are not growing strongly. Were I you, I would look to Asia or the Gulf.

Don't even think about tier 2 European schools right now. They may have excellent reputation in their local & regional markets but in this kind of an economic situation you will not be able to find a job as most of these school's have excellent MBA programs but terrible Career Services. Schools like EMLYON & Vlerick are very reputed schools & constantly feature in the world Top 50/100 but their Careers departments are disastrous. Vlerick's career services are better than EMLYON's where they hardly exist.

As an Indian, try to go for South East Asian & Australian schools. They are good & understand the importance of the Career Department's role in helping their MBA students find International jobs.

Hi, I am from India with 620 GMAT and 7+ work ex.
Initially I was thinking for doing fast tracked mba on International Business or Entrepreneurship, hence UK, Europe had first choice.
Due to economic crisis, falling job opportunities and visa issues I am confused.
I have shortlisted few schools
1. EMLyon, France
2. Copenhagen business school, Denmark
3. Warwick, UK
4. Vlerick Leauven Gent, Belgium

I am not sure if my shortlisting is fine. I am open for 1 yr mba in USA as well. I would appreciate some suggestions in choosing schools.

Warwick would be the best option among these choices provided if you get through.

I think Denmark is supposed to have a decent post-study visa arrangement. Copenhagen B-School makes it sound almost like an automatic 3 years after finishing the mba.
