Choosing between two schools for an MBA

I am reviewing MBA options and, according to my budget and interests, I am between two alternatives: EADA and Vlerick. Both in Full Time format.

I have seen that EADA has entered the FT Top 100 and Vlerick has not been on it since 2017, however it is slightly better positioned as a business school in Europe.

Apparently EADA is doing an interesting job to improve its position in the rankings (although in the QS it is still below 100) but I would like to know which option, in the long term, could be a better investment.

What are your goals and language skills? I assume you are returning to your own country?

I'm from Latin America (Peru), I have more than 6 years of experience in public affairs consulting (speciafically in the mining, oil and gas sectors) and I'm in charge of a team in a firm with global reach.

Although returning to my country is most likely, I would also like to obtain an MBA that is well valued and, therefore, opens job opportunities for me abroad (in Europe preferably). I have an advance level of english, in addition to spanish.

These are similar schools, provincial leaders with national reputations: very similar positions in terms of Flanders/Catalonia and Belgium/Spain. Both around the 30th-best in Europe, with Vlerick having the edge in reputation with local employers (The best school in Flanders, versus the third or the fourth school in Catalonia). However, few international students arrive speaking the region's language (Dutch/Catalan) and local opportunities are limited with people only speaking the region's secondary language (French/Castilian). EADA is probably as well known in Latin America as Vlerick is in the Benelux region, but neither are especially well-known outside Benelux/Spain.

Attend EADA if you want to return to Latin America, or either apply for a better school or a MiF if you want to work in Europe
