Decide MBA Part Time distance learning

Hi everyone,

I would like some opinions on which program should I join.

Some background, I live in Uruguay, I'm halfway through my Bachelor's and I have over 6 years of working experience with at least 3 that can be considered in management. I'm 25 years old.

I want a program that is mostly online, but I can afford to travel once a year to the uni.

Programs I've been accepted so far:

-MBA Manchester Metropolitan University
-MBA University of London

Programs I'm waiting for the response:

-MBA Durham University
-MBA Warwick business school
-MBA Robert Gordon University Aberdeen

Programs I've been rejected:

-MBA Bradford University - Without finishing by undergrad they asked me for 8 years in management.

I am also open to apply to more programs.

I would exclude London, because it doesn't have AACSB accreditation online. Illinois is a great option: since you are in the Americas, a US MBA might work well.

What about Manchester Metropolitan University? They have that accreditation.

I will check it out, but most of them are not flexible on the not having the Bachelor's degree.

MMU is great value and a triple crown school. But it may have less brand equity in your country than, say, Missouri State.

I will check the Illinois one.

I read good things about Durham and Warwick. If you had to rank MMU, Durham, Warwick and Illinois, which order would it be?

I wouldn't do that. I think you have to focus on your goals and what you need from the programme and then see what they offer. Algebraically, Warwick is the highest ranked but what does that mean for your goals?

My goal is to eventually move permanently to Europe and get a job there.

Countries: UK, Spain or Italy.

I work in the payments company, and already have contacts and considerable experience. I just need some kind of title to add to my resume and CV.

Got it. I'm still waiting for their reply, no updates from my initial post.

I already discarded University of London.

Tonight I will also apply for EU Business School, The Open University and Aston Business School (if I can find a link to apply, been browsing their site and I cannot find it).

Is MMU for 11k pounds worth it?

Warwick is much better. To be honest, for the sort of transition you are discussing, a full time MBA in your target country will be the effective route.
