Hi All,
I am a Indian female working as technical analyst at Oracle Managed Cloud Services , India for the past 1.7 years (hoping that by the time of start of my MBA batch I will have 3 years of work experience).
My gmat score report is as follows:
Total 700 (89%)
verbal 34 (71%)
quant 50 (87%)
AWA 4.5 (44%)
IR 5 (53%)
I wish to apply for 2017 batch of a reputed B-school (irrelevant to the part of the world it is located in) with good placement opportunities as I would like to keep working for some fortune MNC post-MBA. I have some schools like SDA, Duke,Insead, NUS,NTU ,IESE, ESADE,Cornell, oxford, HEC in mind.
I have many queries to ask for like :
1. I would really like to get a suggestion on which country to focus on given my profile with good comfortable post-MBA job opportunities .
2. I have read through many blogs so i am not sure why most US B-schools have such high average GMAT scores ? and if my score 700 is good enough for US.
3. Plus I am hesitant to choose MBA in UK as many articles suggest that there are many post-MBA work restrictions making it difficult to find work afterwards. Any word of advice would be appreciated.
4. Also, I would like to know if the mentioned are within my reach or not .I would prefer to have admissions with good scholarships ,so that i would feel less stressful on the financing part .
5. Please suggest what other schools i should start target?
6. Is choosing B -school in european countries like spain or france an intelligent idea ? (provided i am not hesitant to learn a new language if the benefits later outshine the initial phase of adjustment)
Thank you all ! Please do take time to respond with whatever you think .
