Guidance Needed For MBA

Hello,
I am from INDIA,
I have completed my B.E in computer science and engineering in june 2012from India,my aggregate was 66%
I want to apply for jan/feb/mar 2013 intake for an MBA programme from a good business school may be a ranked one.I also wanted to know which country i should select in terms good education and job opportunities currently i am considering (UK,AUS,Singapore,Ireland and canada),as i dont have any work experience which of the good B-Schools i should consider for applying,
As i know that no Ranked B-school is offering mba for freshers,this makes me more confused to opt for an Msc programme.
Now my questions are:-
1-What course i should select MBA or Msc ?
2-If Msc which field i should consider my core field or management?
3-Is there any good b-school which is offering mba for freshers?
4-I will be also grateful for any other of your valuable Advice for me.
I have posted my question on this forum after looking at the other true advices given by the respected members of this forum,I am in a desperate need of a good career counselling.

Look at the Financial Times rankings of masters in management programmes. Those are designed for people like you.

PS Outside India, there are no good Freshers MBAs.

The academic year starts in the Autumn. I think In Australasia you can start in February.

Don't take a freshers' MBA (except at the IIMA,B,C). They are inferior to the MSc degrees in management at accredited, respected schools.

You can't always get what you want. If you systematically research the sites on the FT ranking, then you might find one which has an intake in February. Otherwise, you can go to a weaker school that does start in the February.

In Australia, these are often called MCom degrees. Take a look at http://www.eduniversal-ranking.com/business-school-university-ranking-in-australia.html for the best schools there.

Leeds is better: it's on the FT ranking I recommended earlier (http://rankings.ft.com/businessschoolrankings/masters-in-management-2012). Look at the schools higher up on that list as well.

If you're considering other UK-based programs, why not aim higher? Warwick, Strathclyde, Aston, Imperial, Cass, etc. all have really good pre-experience masters in management programs that would provide a much better return on investment in the long run.

Although another option would be to work for a few years and then apply for an accredited, ranked MBA program...

That's a good suggestion. Strathclyde even has a formal pathway allowing MBM graduates to upgrade to an MBA.

The MBM doesn't have the same outcomes as an MBA: the students and roles recruited for are different for pre-experience roles. The Strathclyde MBA is pretty good. Of course you won't have the full MBA experience through the MBM pathway (you don't have a year in the MBA programme), but it's pretty good.

Can you do some test prep and retake the GMAT? Reason being that there is a lot of competition for people with similar profiles to you, so you want any edge you can get.

Also, where do you want to do your MBA? (US, UK, other?)

You can calculate the RoI yourself from the fees and average salary. The Forbes ranking is based on RoI.

Keep in mind that many of the lower tier and unranked MBA programs in the US are going to be regionally-oriented, and provide more value to locals than international students. If you can bump your GMAT score to 650+, you would be able to consider programs like Rutgers or George Washington University, which tend to be more internationally-focused.
