Letter of Recommendation

I have a few questions regarding to sending Letters of Recommendations to multiple Universities in the U.S.

1) I live in country where the native language is Spanish. Would the letter have to be written in English then? And what if the one writing the letter doesn't know English him/herself?

2) Would the person recommending me need to send the letter to the University or would i have to send the letter with my application?

Any information would help. Thank you.

Welcome to the forum, dani87... I'll give you some suggestions on your questions.

You should talk to the schools you are applying to. My guess is that they'll want it translated.

2) Would the person recommending me need to send the letter to the University or would i have to send the letter with my application?

Most reputable universities have the recommenders send their letters directly to the university.

To sum it up: contact the schools you are applying to, or at the very least look at their websites. The last thing you want to do is blindly send out your applications and/or letters of recommendations.
