I've always had a passion for Mathematics and have always wanted to work in Market Research and Data Science. I want to get into a Business Analytics or a Statistics course in one of the top universities in the word. I am planning to apply to the following:
1) MIT Sloan (MBAn)
2) Harvard (MStat)
3) Stanford (MStat)
4) HEC Paris (Data Science)
5) ESSEC Paris ( BAnalytics)
6) Imperial College London
7) Oxford ( MStat)
In both my undergrad and MBA I was almost always on the top of the class in advanced calculus, statistics, economics and computer science courses even though IIMs are known for their academic rigor. I am one of the 120 students graduating from the IPM business program of the prestigious Indian Institute of Management,( IIM Indore ) this year.
[ Acceptance Rate: < 0.5% ]
In my third year of undergrad, I decided to start traveling around the world to learn about new cultures and also since in the third year we were not offered any advanced math courses, I lost interest and got low grades in courses like Psychology, Sociology, Humanities, etc which gave me an average or slightly above average GPA. I wanted to know if my profile will be competitive enough.
This is my profile.
