Many MSC programmes in general management are two years in France, so a specialised master might be better. There are also some agre limits on French programmes. some people say that i should choose public universities as they are cheaper and good, do you think the cheaper the program the bad it is? and is French public universities good too? my budget is 17,000 ( loan) Euro but it would be better if i found a good program and cheaper at the same time. thanks

I think this really depends on your goals. If you really want to work in France, and are not French, then you should attend a state university to learn French inexpensively and then take a MS in French at a grande ecole, ideally one with a semester of taught work and a semester of work placement. If you don't want to work in France then a state university will give you a very different experience. Few of them are on a par with state universities in other developed European countries: they are overcrowded and have low completion rates. EM Strasbourg is a special case as it is the only (as far as I know) grande ecole inside a unitary university. The IAE in Poitiers, Paris and Aix en Provence get okay outcomes, but you really get what you pay for. If you don't speak French then a diplome in French plus an IAE degree will be better than an English-langaueg MSc.

so you think that if i'm not planning on working in France afterwards i shouldn't seek a state university and other programs is better for me ? and i don't speak French and don't want to study in French.

I think you can see that salaries from grandes ecoles are higher than from the IAE. Why study in France? What are your goals?

My goal is to work in an international company in my country or even in France if there's an opportunity. why France? because i want to have the study abroad experience and France is the second best country after UK in business, also i would like to learn French while I'm there, but not to study in French for the business terminology must be in English in able to work back in Egypt.
Grands ecoles is 2 years, and my budget can cover my expenses for 1 years Only, so I must choose a 1 year English program that worth my investment. and I'm scared from programs that cheap and have no actually learning experience.

I don't understand why you think France and the UK are the two best countries in business. If you study in an English-speaking programme you will spend your time with people who don't speak much French. you will probably leave the country after a year not speaking much French. Grandes ecoles run programmes which are one, two or three years depending on your needs. The two programmes I gave you likes to, for example, would allow you to complete a grande ecole masters degree in one year.

Indeed, it is reasonable to assume that a low-cost programme in a state university would not be great. However, if you wanted to work in France then it would be a better option than a grande ecole programme in English. I see that it not your primary goal.

With your experience and your budget, it would be possible for you to attend an MBA at a great school outside France: UC£M or CEU come to find for example. Why not do that rather than an MSc in France with a munch more junior cohort?

MSc is better than MBA for me because i have no work experience in business, and doing an interniship will do me good, when i get back to my country i would have the knowledge & applied it too. and MBA is for professionals

Okay, well that makes sense to me. I'm not sure what you have been doing since college, but some programmes might be open to considering the life experience you've had and your career goals, and might be flexible. There are also some AACSB-accredited MBAs which might not always require work experience (AMBA requires work experience, but AACSB does not).Zagreb School of Economics and Management might consider you for its MBA, and so might Ljubljana for example. Since Zagreb has an MBA in marketing, that might be a great fit.

On the other hand if your heart is set on France then NEOMA, ESC Rennes, IESEG, Montpellier and Tolouse business schools all have MSc in marketing programmes that are close to your budget.

Yes, you should apply early. The right school is worth waiting for, and evem losing a deposit for. But get in touch before you apply. Explain your unusual position, since some schools might be very interested or very disinterested in you.

I don't know if Turkey is an option for you, but there are excellent AACSB schools there.

i looked in all the schools you mentioned and some of them requires a good GMAT score, i was planning to do the test next month, but i have small chances to get a good score in this time. do you think it's better to postponed GMAT till April and get a Good score & submit my application by than or you said the earlier the better and submit my application in March with a bad GMAT score, i'm afraid to wait till end of April and lose my chances, or you think April is a suitable time and i still can find places ?

Take a practise test online and see where you are now.certainly contact the schools now, explain where you are up to.
