MBA help

Hey guys,
So I live in NJ and I have a bachelor's in Biotechnology. I am currently working as a lab tech through a contractor at J&J. I don't want to stay in this job forever. I want to better myself financially and grow and I was wondering would it be a good idea to pursue an MBA? I have no GRE/GMAT attempts and my GPA from my BS is lower than a 3.0. I was looking into applying to Rutgers. Is this possible? Any type of advice or direction would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Average work experience in the Rutgers MBA tends to be between 4-5 years. Average GMAT score is 640-650.

Since your GPA is lower (how low) you want to be able to compensate for that with either more (or more substantial) work experience than the average, and/or a stronger GMAT score than the average. In particular, a stronger-than-average GMAT score would signal to the ad comms at Rutgers that although you did rather poorly during undergraduate, you now have the capacity to undertake academic work at a high level.
