Msc. / MBA in Risk management???

Hi,

This is for a friend of mine. He is currently working with a well known private banking firm in Mumbai, India and contemplating an MBA to boost his growth and opportunities in the sector. He possess more almost 4 years of work experience within corporate, retail & private banking sectors and is a level 2 CFA & FRM candidate.
He is interested in pursuing a M.Sc. or MBA in Financial Risk Management. Could anyone throw highlight on:
1) What colleges/univs offer this course?
2) What prospects after this course?
3) Is it safer to do an MBA in finance instead??

With his experience, sounds like your friend is probably better suited for an MBA. To your questions....

1) Use the advanced search on this website, where you can search for "Insurance/Risk Management" programs: http://www.find-mba.com/search

2) Depends on a lot of factors and how well he uses the networking opportunities of a business schools. Also where he wants to work: India or elsewhere.

3) No idea, sorry.
