Demo,
your prior education BS in banking/Fin, MSc in IB etc. will be less important than your work experience. I am not sure how well perceived ACCA will be in US since they are adamant on CPA.
My wife recently graduated from MS in Accounting, she also have her MBA & BBA in Banking/Finance. She hasn't found an employer yet who would sponsor her for H1B. Think of it from a companies point of view. Why would they sponsor you? Accounting roles tend to get $40-60k for entry roles. There are talks in DC about introducing a bill that will raise the minimum wage requirement of H1B to $130,000. No one makes that kind of money at entry level outside of Top10. Even Managers in big brand names don't make that much - Unless you are working in NYC/SF in Big tech names or the likes of MBB/Goldman.
Anyhow, with that in mind companies are highly reluctant in sponsoring students from outside of Top 15-20 schools. NCSU, Kogod etc are no where near top 70. It will be a hard sell for you unless you have certain skills that are hard to find in US.
Anecdotal information can be harmful. Does your brother/sister/relatives have technical education or generic business roles? Just because they had a successful run back then doesn't mean you would have one in near future. You may or may not possess enough qualifications, but by virtue of studying in UK in an unknown school means diddly squat to any recruiter here.
My colleague from India had 5+ years of work-ex and 760 on GMAT prior to her MBA from Tuck (Ivy League). Out of those 5 years she spent 3 years working in UK. She was laid off few months back, even she is finding it super hard to land interview calls. I am not sure what your bro/sis do and when they graduated. Remember back in 2007-8 there were unused H1Bs and someone could apply for them as late as November. Now is a different story. Only advantage of having your relatives in US are
1) Cost savings if you live with them.
2) Support system - so buying a mobile, internet, getting a credit card etc. is not a battle
3) Networking - they may introduce to their professional network which may be helpful in Internship/job search.
