Hi, I’m a Latin American Industrial Engineer 29 year old woman. I work at Mercado Libre, Latin America’s biggest e-commerce (Amazon’s competition in Brazil and Mexico) and have done so for the last 6 years. I’ve gotten promoted 4 times (started as Jr Analyst and worked my way up to Manager). 3,5 years spent as an analytics analysts and the other 2,5 as Supervisor and Manager of a Product team in the logistics division.
My GPA is not high due to the demanding uni I went to. It’s around 3 but I graduated in the top 20% of my class.
Due to personal reasons I wasn’t able to prepare or take the gmat and I have no time left if I want to start in September, but I think I have a pretty solid resume otherwise.
I’d like to continue in the Tech sector and would also like a school with an interesting entrepreneurship side.
I’ve seen that Imperial has a gmat waiver, is that likely? Do you know any others worth trying? IE could be an option but is quite expensive and grants very small scholarships. And on that note, is it realistic getting a gmat waiver AND a scholarship?
Thank you so much!
