I’d start with Financial Intelligence by Berman &amp; Knight and something light from Kotler like Ten Deadly Marketing Sins. &nbsp;Your business school will probably provide reading lists before you start.<br><br>Before even considering the MBA I enjoyed anything by Jim Collins, Beyond Entrepreneurship or How The Mighty Fall. Most people go for Good to Great but I found more value in the other two.

Maybe try Snapshots from Hell: The Making of an MBA. It's based on a first year MBA student's experience at Stanford. It was published in the mid-2000s and I read it when I was thinking of doing an MBA back then. If you search, I am sure you'll find newer equivalents and maybe one for the geographic region you will be studying in.&nbsp;
