Should I join Indian Institute of Foreign Trade or apply for universities outside India this year?

For context, I am a software engineer with 3 years of work experience and I wish to pursue an MBA. I have a GMAT score of 700 and an IELTS score of 8. I currently reside in India.

I have received an offer letter from Indian Institue of Foreign Trade (IIFT) and have a few more days to accept or reject the offer.

My dilemma arises from the fact that, the average salary post MBA at IIFT would be a step down from my current salary at my software development job. Though my interests lie in the Management side of things, I am not sure if I want to take a paycut to pursue it.

Would it be wise of me to reject this offer and pursue an MBA outside India? If yes, which colleges should I aim for outside which fit my profile (GMAT 700, 3 years work experience)? I would prefer an English speaking country like USA, UK or Canada.

Read the post on GMAT Tiers. Ovbioudly do not take a pay cut.

Study where you want to work. IIFT is an excellent school if you want to work in India. Apply to tier 1schools in the country you want to work.
