Strathclyde MBM or university of Aberdeen MBA

Hi,

I've 3 and half years of working experience,so I've applied for MBA in university of strathclyde but they rejected me by saying that i don't have enough managerial experience and they offered me admission to Msc Business Management (MBM) program which is basically for the fresh graduates and people with experience less than 3 years, on the other hand i received admit from University of Aberdeen for MBA, so kindly let me know whether to proceed with MBM at this point of time or should I join university of Aberdeen MBA program?

You can do MBM and then proceed to top-up to earn MBA at Strathclyde on a part-time basis if that makes sense
The prime age for MBA is 26 to 28 after 4 to 6 years of experience.

Personally I believe management education is very easy and just common-sense. The difficulty is the practice, you need to learn and practice and maybe at some points in your life a management advanced degree can be a good credential so go for it and do it once to make it worth.

Specialization degree like finance, tech, engineering or marketing are especially useful for boosting your knowledge and know-how.

This depends on your goal. Strathclyde is a much better business school for working in the UK.

Aberdeen is stronger in property/land economy/real estate and in oil/gas.

The real estate course is particularly strong and it is a very interesting area

Placement rates are higher after top schools' MBM and MiM degrees than from their MBAs. If you want work to work in the UK, it's better to attend a top MiM than a below-average MBA. See:
