The transition from Clinic to Industry

Hello everyone, I hope you are doing well.

I am a physician in Brazil and I wish I could live and work abroad (Canada/USA). I am planning to apply for an MBA or a master degree next year and later get a job at Biopharmaceutical Industry.

I would greatly appreciate it if anybody could give me some advice about:

1) Which MBA/school would be more interesting for me in terms of employability?
2) Do you consider this career transition possible (from clinic in Brazil to industry in Canada/USA after doing an MBA in one of these countries)?

It depends. Generally, the schools ranked in the Financial Times are safe bets.
2) Do you consider this career transition possible (from clinic in Brazil to industry in Canada/USA after doing an MBA in one of these countries)?

Yes, for many students - especially those who do their MBA from a ranked business school.

- there are some business schools that have strong placements in the healthcare/pharma/biotech industries. A school like Johns Hopkins, which has a strong connection with these fields, might also be a good choice.
