Trinity College is an excellent choice if you want to work in Ireland. UCD is better, of course, but it's a rapidly growing school in an excellent institution.

I have one more option of Lancaster University. However I realized finding a job in UK is more competitive due to time limit (4 months to search for a job - post study). Furthermore, Lancaster and Trinity both have a very good regional influence. So I am more inclined towards Trinity. Do you think I am thinking in the right direction or is there something which I am missing?

Well, I think it depends on how strong a candidate you are. Lancaster is good at placing people, and the quality of students will be better and more international. It will have better career suppport too. But the learning experience will be different (LU is a big, slick school) and the setting too (capital rather than campus). LU is the safer choice, I guess.

I spoke to one alumni from Trinity College Dublin he said he chose Trinity over Lancaster since countrywide reputation of Trinity is better in its home country (Ireland) compared to Lancaster in its home country (England) since its competing with the likes of Said and Judge and that at the end the best outcome you would expect from an MBA is to find employment in the country where your University is based at.

One more imp. thing he mentioned was that since Trinity doesnt participate in FT ranking hence its not ranked there. So we cant deny trinity on the basis of FT rankings.
Any thoughts on these feedback?

I think the alum is mistaken. No schools refuse to participate in the ft ranking.

I suppose they could simply refuse to provide information and not help with coordinating alumni for the survey, but not sure why they would want to do that.

Obviously school devote substantial resources to getting into the rankings, and it's so easy to contact people these days.

I am looking at MBA from Trinity or UCD Smurfit , I have 640 in GMAT , 5 yrs work experience with major MNC (Accenture). Do you guys think I am making the right choice here?

With my score I won't be in top 40 institutes in US and probably miss out on top 5 in Canada as well, top 3 in Singapore. Considering major tech companies(Amazaon, Accenture, Facebook, Microsoft) having their European headquarters in Ireland (taking advantage of corporate taxes) and the one year stay back after graduation. It seems Ireland is my best bet. I have a few questions here: -

1. Do I stand a decent chance to get a call from these colleges?
2. Job opportunities in Ireland for Indians upon graduation.
3. Should I consider Australia (MGSM)
4. With all my experience in IT and interest in Project management and Tech Consulting roles I believe Ireland will serve me best or should i Consider some lower ranked schools in California? if I can get an admit.

I would really take a minute to narrow down on your career goals. You're potentially considering business schools in three very different regions - Ireland, Australia, and the US - which makes it seems like you're not certain where you want to be.

Ireland is a great place to be and the post-MBA visa rules are fairly good, but if I were you I would look at the job market there and see if MBAs from the schools you are looking at actually get placed in the roles you'd be interested in. Same with grads from the schools in California and MGSM.
