I guess Yale leaving the top 10 is notable. Of course, Yale is still ranked higher than Ross in the FT.

It looks like they have updated their methodology to discount GMAT scores if a school didn't submit the scores for at least 50 percent of a class:

Texas Christain University (Neeley) has been removed from the US News Ranking:

They overstated their average GMAT. Said it was 678 when it was actually 640.

Simple oversight, or something more sinister?

From an article I read, they attributed it to human error - whoever filled in the info put the wrong value in the field. They normally have internal processes for checking these things, but for whatever reason they didn't catch it. Was it something as simple as confusing the mean and median values maybe?

Yes, maybe something like that. If they can make a mistake like that, and since this has happened before with another US News ranking, it sort of undermines the credibility of the publication, at least a little.
