Practice, Practice, Practice.
Questions on the GMAT are very similar to questions contained in the test prep books. Your self graded results will tell you where you need to focus to get the score you want.

Oh sorry for not replying, just now I saw your mail. Thanks for the advise! That's what I thought while going through the book. I was just wondering if there are any special tricks of methodology, or some partucular approach that has proven to be specially efficient for someone of you.
Another question I had, related to GMAT: Anyone has a good experience improving the results after taking the GMAT exam for 2nd time?

A great place to start is with the test makers themselves at mba.co. They have free gmat prep software that you can download and get two free practice tests http://www.mba.com/global/the-gmat-exam/prepare-for-the-gmat-exam/test-prep-materials/free-gmat-prep-software.aspx
Take one of those practice tests and see how close you are to your goal score and what your weaknesses are. From there, you can use this information to figure out what the best way for you to study is.

yea, the mba website is a great place to start! Most of the big test prep companies (veritas, kaplan, mgmat, magoosh, economist gmat) also, all have a lot of practice material on their websites. Some of them let you preview their courses for free, so you can practice that way.
