GMAT again..

Hi,

Can anyone out here help me with a strategy of taking this gruesome test again. I took it for the first time in December and got a score of 630(q47 v30). I actually dont know what exactly happened on that day, my mock scores were very decent and obviously that increased my expectations alot but now I feel I dont know what and where to start with again. I aimed at HEC , IE and HKUST before giving the exam and yes I can apply there with a 10% chance but I do feel I should give it another shot, so any strategy any suggestions any plan of action will surely be appreciated.

Rahul,

u might have already heard it.. but here is what i suggest.. since you have already gone thru the drill once.. repeat the process by taking six tests in six weeks..
start with GMAT Prep and start reviewing and identify your problem areas and go after them methodically..

every week whichever day is comfortable take the whole test.. Kaplan-(2-3), princeton (1-2) and any other brand that will give you some stamina to attack these tests..and then finish with GMAT prep 3-4 days prior to the test date..

bottomline is discipline and practice.. the more comfortable you get with the routine of takling these test for 4 hrs..the better it is for your GMAT..

I couldn't agree with this more. The more you practice test, the more you'll be comfortable with the GMAT's formula, tricks, and presentation. Comfort leads to you worrying about it less and thinking about it more.

If you don't have the discipline to do this kind of prep, then definitely enroll in a program that will force you.
