i think mason does require it, and if so, it would be pretty hard to get in with 300.....

I didn't know it was possible to score a 300... I just looked at a scale and that puts you in the bottom 3 percentile.

That means you must have got like 6 questions right on the whole test. That's not good.

I think you will have trouble getting into any school that requires the GMAT with that score. If you are not willing to put in a lot of study time and retake the test, then I would stick to schools that do not require the GMAT.

Out of the three you mention Argosy is the only one that appears not to require the GMAT. The California State University system is made up of several seperate universities. All the ones I've come across online say they require the GMAT.
Northridge wants at least a 560, Fresno wants 550, and San Bernardino wants at least a 470. If there is a particular campus you're interested in, I would find their Web site and check, though. Each seems to have its own admission criteria. Here you can find a list of the 23 branches:

In short, with your score, you are limited to schools with very lenient admission requirements. Argosy sounds like an example.

Where I live, Cleveland State University's Nance School of Business is also in that boat. They require the GMAT, but offer remedial courses for people with low scores. If you take those courses, they let most people in. http://engagenance.com/

I'm sure there are plenty of other programs like this across the country.

300?? how is it possible? even trying to guessing each answer you could do better.
Henley doesn't require any gmat but you must have a solid work experience
