Hello all,
Turkish citizen here. I am a business administration student from one of the top universities in the country. I have a decent, but not very high GPA of 3.3/4 (still top 10 in faculty), some good extracurricular activities ranging from volunteer student consulting for a NGO to animal rights or art history. I have also a long term internship(1.5 years) in a start-up and spent 2 summers in a family business. Unfortunately, I don't have an experience in a global company, but will probably work in one the last semester as full time intern. However, because of the size of the jobs, I gained considerable amount of experience in different areas due to heavy responsibilities.
After graduation, I want to pursue a masters degree and I would like to search jobs abroad after my master. However, the main problem is the fact that I am not EEA or US citizen (or Indian/Chinese), which makes my visa problem a huge issue. My question here is, which business schools and which masters are best suitable for these? I thought UK or Ireland would be a better choice due to language problems, but I will also apply to Mannheim.
I am not a high chance candidate for LBS or Oxbridge, but I will try my chances in one of those. Still researching the courses that will fit my previous experience to increase my chances. On the other hand, the course is another issue. I always thought marketing and strategy courses would be better fit, but what do you think? Does applying management masters or finance increase my chances to find a job graduation?
I really appreciate a help here, since there is not much people in my environment had an experience about these.
Thank you for time,
Best
