DBA - Cass vs ESCP

Hi Duncan, I'm keen on pursuing a DBA at either Cass or ESCP. I'm only looking at these two because I can get some funding for them.

I've been working in Asia for the past 15 years and plan to return here after graduation. But I'm looking to advance my career and stand out with a doctoral degree from UK/Europe since there are too many MBAs from local schools running around here. Therefore, to me prestige/reputation matters more than the course content/learning.

What would you suggest between the two, or are they about equal? Would really appreciate your views. Thanks in advance!

In so far as DBAs produce revenues that support academic faculty, I guess it;s harmless. But the perception gab between the executive DBA and full-time PhD will only grow.

I'm not sure that a DBA would add much value to your profile, given your goals.

Why not look at the kinds of jobs you want to get, and see what kind of advanced degrees the people working in these positions have? Maybe, if employers looking for international university names on resumes (I'm not sure that they do, honestly), an Online MBA from a UK or US school might be worth considering?
